warehouse and distribution center security, event security, residential community patrol, and construction site security.
Nearly every professional unarmed security position in Connecticut requires a valid Guard Card.
What do I do next after class?
After successfully completing the 8-hour CT Guard Card course, you will complete your
state and national background checks online,
then schedule your fingerprinting appointment with the Connecticut State Police.
These are the only two required steps after class β backgrounds and fingerprints.
Once completed, you will mail your Guard Card application to the state for processing.
We walk every student step-by-step through this process so you know exactly what to do.
